Room Policies
- A full hot breakfast is served each morning from 8:15 to 9:30.
- A small guest refrigerator is available to store parishables.
- Check in 3 p.m. or later.
- Check out by 11 a.m.
- Accomodations are not suitable for children under 7.
- No pets in the inn.
- Smoking is not permitted inside of the Inn.
- Rates are for single or double occupancy.
- No minimum stays except on holidays.
- Rooms are reserved with a deposit of one night's lodging or 50% for stays of four or more nights.
- For cancellations your deposit will be refunded if you cancel at least seven days in advance of your scheduled arrival date. For cancellations made within 7 days of your arrival date, your deposit will be retained.
Wedding Policies
- All receptions must be over by 8:00 pm to accomodate lodging guests, unless your wedding party has rented the whole inn for the night.
- If overtime is required for the event the cost is $100.00 per hour for the facility.
- Clean up is done depending on the package you choose. Keep in mind that Bubbles, paper streamers (serpentine) or rolls of crepe paper are cheerfully cleaned up at no charge.
- Bands and DJs must play in the General Store building.
- There is an additional fee per client for the use of birdseed, rice, confetti, flower petals, metallic streamers or paper bits/strips.
- Alcohol is not served by the facility. Client is responsible for their own bartender. Any person partaking of alcohol must be 21 years of age in the state of Georgia and are responsible for their own actions and those of their friends and family.
- Marriage licenses must be provided by either the bride or groom. You can be married in a day in Georgia for there is no waiting period or blood test required. If you are both residents you can get the marriage license in any Georgia county. If one of you is not a resident you must get the license in the county where you are to be married. The inn is located in Bartow County and the license can be obtained at the courthouse there. If either the bride or groom has been divoriced in the last 6 months they must show a copy of the final decree to obtain the license. For Marriage licenses, the address for the courthouse is 135 W. Cherokee Avenue in Cartersville, GA on the second floor of the probate courtroom.
- A non-refundable deposit is required the day the wedding is booked.
- The entire wedding package must be paid for as agreed upon in the wedding package contract.
Horse Lodging Policies
- All horses must have current negative Coggins.
- Current health certificate required if animal is from out of state.
- Guest is responsible for the safety and care of their animal.
- Lake Allatoona Inn is not liable for injury, death, or illness of any animals.
- Lake Allatoona Inn is not responsible for any veterinary bills of any animals.
- Guest release Lake Allatoona Inn of any liability pertaining to any animals.
- Guest are responsible any damage their animal causes.
